Who do you think will be in the Finals and who will win?
Right now I like the Suns beating the Bulls. The Suns have a lot of depth with new addition of Jalen Rose. Also with Amare coming back to full strength, they look very dominant. The Bulls are young and talented. They have a very good defense and I think Big Ben will lead them to the Finals.

I'm gonna go all out on this next post and choose my 8 teams to make the playoffs and how I expect the playoffs to go. This should take a while, but it'll be worth it.
My seedings: Eastern Conference 1. Miami Heat (southeast champ) 2. Chicago Bulls (central champ) 3. New Jersey Nets (atlantic champ) 4. Cleveland Cavaliers 5. Detroit Pistons 6. Philadelphia 76ers 7. Indiana Pacers 8. Washington Wizards Western Conference 1. Dallas Mavericks (southwest champ) 2. Phoenix Suns (pacific champ) 3. Denver Nuggets (northwest champ) 4. Seattle Supersonics 5. San Antonio Spurs 6. NO/OK Hornets 7. Los Angeles Lakers 8. Sacramento Kings First Round East Miami over Washington in 6 Chicago over Indiana in 4 New Jersey over Philadelphia in 6 Cleveland over Detroit in 7 West Dallas over Sacramento in 5 Phoenix over Los Angeles in 6 Denver over NO/OK in 5 San Antonio over Seattle in 6 Second Round East Cleveland over Miami in 7 Chicago over Philadelphia in 6 West Dallas over San Antonio in 7 Phoenix over Denver in 5 Semis Chicago over Cleveland in 6 Dallas over Phoenix in 7-- amazing series FINALS Chicago over Dallas in 7
The Ben Wallace acquisition proves to be the missing ingredient in Chicago. The two Bens are like the Kobe-Shaq duo back in the first of there 3-peat. Ben Gordon receives MVP averaging 35 points a game against Dallas' shaky SG, whoever they have in that position at the moment, maybe Stackhouse, who knows.

I don't have the effort to go through everything, but I think Pheonix has a good shot. If, and only if, Amare stays healthy, they will be the complete team. Steve Nash will win MVP again, and Shawn Marion will have another great campaign.
Thoos... I hope/assume you mean that Ben Gordon will average 35 points in the finals, not the regular season.

Well yeah, then maybe you should make a thread about it. Also, it just started, so don't be hatin' on the only basketball that was going on when this thread was made.

Well, yeah... I like college better too because they're playing for fun and pride... I was just saying that Nick should have started another thread about college instead of just going to this thread and saying it sucks.

It's like the difference between JV and Varsity basketball or something. You can't say you like JV much better to watch then Varsity when the Varsity is just all the best players from JV. JV being NCAA and Varsity being NBA.

it is not the same at all. college has good players too, athletic and all that. except they play way better defense in college and they play as a team. it is not the same as jv and varsity. the nba is not a teram game is just to see who can dunk the hardest. they never call traveling, they let stars take a good 3-4 steps sometimes. people dont play defense as hard, and the fans dont get into it as much

I'm not sure they play as good defense as they play bad offense. And Nick, noone said they like the NBA better, in fact I'm pretty sure everyone here prefers college (correct me if I'm wrong)... we're just saying that the NBA does not suck.

NCAA has blowouts like 1 out of every 2 games. In the NBA, every single game has an opportunity for the other team to win even if it's the Raptors vs. the Jazz. With the talent of the players in the NBA any single player could go off. NCAA is just different with the fact that some teams are SOOO much better than others that certain teams would never beat other teams.
